Biqtch Puddin’ is a drag icon who doesn’t just make an entrance, she takes over the stage! The Dragula Season 2 winner, digital drag innovator, and all-around superstar is back with a new gig: starring in OUTtv’s latest must-watch series, Drag House Rules.
If you haven’t seen Drag House Rules yet, let me tell you, it’s a perfect mix of camp, chaos, and drag excellence. It features some of the biggest names in the industry, like Jujubee, Rock M. Sakura, and the legendary Tammy Brown.
Biqtch Puddin’ has always been a game-changer. Her journey has been nothing short of amazing. Starting in college drag shows, making waves in Atlanta, winning Dragula, and even working at Cartoon Network…and let’s not forget her role in keeping drag alive online when clubs closed down. “We need community now more than ever,” she told us, and she’s right.
Now that the first 3 episodes of Drag House Rules are out, it’s clear we’re in for a wild ride. Expect the unexpected, laugh until you cry, and get ready for the return of Biqtch Puddin’ because when she’s in the house, anything can happen!
What first drew you to the world of drag?
I went to Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) for performing arts, and I wasn’t really finding my place until I did a charity drag show. My professors saw me perform and were like, “Oh my God, this is what you’re supposed to be doing.” I was hesitant at first, I didn’t go to college to be a drag queen, But ten years later….here we are, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Biqtch Puddin’ is such an iconic name. Where did it come from?
It’s from an Adult Swim sketch parodying Strawberry Shortcake. She’s this wild, rowdy neighbor named Bitch Pudding. I used to work at Cartoon Network, so when I first started, I was worried I’d get a cease and desist but they actually thought it was cool. The ‘Q’ in ‘Biqtch’ came later, mostly for search purposes. If you type ‘BIQ,’ I pop up immediately. If you type ‘bitch’… well, you might just get a dog or a Karen.

Let’s talk about Drag House Rules. What can viewers expect from the show?
Oh, it’s an experience! We all showed up for the first episode thinking it was just another gig, but the next day we came back with our makeup extra tight and our outfits upgraded because we realized there’s magic happening here…I can’t reveal too much, but the format is fresh, hilarious, and just chaotic in the best way.
Who was your favorite castmate to work with?
Rock M. Sakura was a wild ride! I also didn’t realize Jujubee she was a method actress until midway through filming when I noticed she treated me differently on and off set. I was like, “Oh bitch, you’re method.” and she just smirked! Also, Tammy Brown….every time she opens her mouth, it’s pure genius.

You’ve worked closely with Laganja Estranja, and now you’re both on Drag House Rules. What’s your history together?
Oh, Laganja was actually a huge part of my journey into Hollywood. We met through mutual friends, bonded over sobriety and, of course, weed (California sober) you know. She helped get my foot in the door with the Boulet Brothers’ pageant, which I ended up winning, and that led me to Dragula. We’ve worked together a lot since then, and I even borrowed some of her outfits for Dragula… though I definitely ruined them with all the blood and paint, ha!
You’ve had an incredible career, from winning Dragula to shaping digital drag and now starring in Drag House Rules. What’s next for Biqtch Puddin’?
Continuing to push drag to new heights. Bringing digital drag back, collaborating with incredible artists, and just making sure the queer community has the representation and ridiculous, campy, fun TV we deserve.
Whether she’s slaying the stage, revolutionizing digital drag, or bringing pure chaos to Drag House Rules, one thing’s for sure: Biqtch Puddin’ was born to entertain. And with her unstoppable drive and fearless creativity, she’s just getting started! You can watch the series premiere of Drag House Rules for free on YouTube today and the rest of the season on OUTtv.
