Prosthetic Makeup Student

Ailish is from Glemgormley, a small town just outside of Belfast.  She was inspired to get into make-up by her mother who is also a MUA and is studying Prosthetic Makeup at Belfast Met University.  She describes her style as grunge, bold and symmetrical and is inspired by goth styles of make-up from the 70s and 80s.

Freelance Make-Up Artist and Bubble Tea Staff

Cherise lives with her grandma in South London, where she was born.  She grew up during the YouTube beauty era of 2016 and was hugely influenced by tutorials that she watched in her bedroom.  After completing her studies at the London College of Beauty Therapy she started working with MAC, later working at Harrods and Selfridges.  As a freelancer she works extensively on music videos and creative shoots.

IT Recruitment Consultant

Jade hails from Reading where she lives with her parents and their dog Max.  After being appointed to the MAC Pro Team, COVID hit and she was made redundant.  She is more determined than ever to get back into make-up and volunteers for a charity called ‘Look Good Feel Better,’ delivering skincare and make-up workshops for cancer patients.

Make-Up Artist

Jake is Rotherham born and bred, used to perform as a drag artist named Marvy and freelanced in his Mum’s beauty salon for 3 years.  After teaching himself make-up in his bedroom growing up, he completed a Graphic Design course.  He describes his style as eerie and ethereal and is inspired by fantasy, Irish folklore and fairies with a dream to be an SFX artist for film.

Student, McDonald’s & Kryolan

Jamie grew up in Woolwich as 1 of 6 siblings. He is currently studying Hair and Make-Up at North Kent College while also working as a crew trainer at McDonald’s and as a retail artist at Kryolan.  He started in drag make-up and has progressed into beauty, bridal and creative work, assisting at London Fashion Week 2024.  He’d ultimately like to be a freelance MUA and would love a career in TV and Film, creating prosthetics and SFX makeup.

Brand Specialist at Selfridges

Joe grew up in a small village in South Wales, where his family is still based.  He initially qualified as a hairdresser before turning his attention to make-up.  His make-up and style is full glamour, with an alternative twist and is heavily influenced by drag.  In the future Joe wants to be the go-to artist for fashion magazine cover shoots.

Retail Assistant and Drag Queen

Josh was born in Stoke-on-Trent but now lives in the Chester area with his fiancé, also a MUA and drag queen.  His creativity flourishes through his part time work as a drag queen, Lexi Blac.  He has extensive experience working for brands such as Benefit and NYX, and while working for NYX he won the Pro Artist of the Year Award in 2019.  Josh’s ambition is to be a celebrity make-up artist, with a focus on queer and drag-inspired artistry.

Counter Make-Up Artist

A self-taught MUA, Kat’s artistry heavily influenced by gothic styles, horror movies, video games and comic books, earning her the nickname “Goth Bimbo” among friends.  She describes her style as dark but beautiful, merging spooky with fun and she won NYX’s Artist of the Year for the UK and Ireland with a NYX goddess-inspired look.

Freelance MUA and Lash Artist

Mia lives in North Wales with her parents, taught herself make-up at 16 and earned a degree in special effects make-up at the University of Bolton.  She has worked with clients and models, including make-up for the women’s UEFA football championships and fashion shows.  She loves both glamorous and creative, gory makeup, often blending the two styles!

Photographer and Make-Up Artist

Birmingham-based Rahual is from a Punjabi family and he loves drawing from his cultural heritage to inspire his artwork.  His preferred style is full glam, but in a transformative way and he works both as a makeup artist and photographer.  Rahual wants to see his work on the red carpet and while he is drawn to the fashion industry, he is also keen to work in film and theatre too.
