OUTtv Announces Slate of 4 New and 6 Returning Series
New and Renewed OUTtv Originals Include Reality, Documentary and Scripted Programming
Vancouver & Los Angeles – May 4, 2022 – OUTtv, the world’s first LGBTQ+ television network and streaming service, today announced that it is expanding its slate of OUTtv Originals with 4 new series and 6 renewed series.
“Our original series have been highly successful with our audiences,” said Philip Webb, COO of OUTtv. “We are thrilled to be expanding our catalog of original series and to bring more authentically queer content to OUTtv.com subscribers.”
New OUTtv Originals Commissions include Sew Fierce from Sonic Nursery, Dr. Jackie and Behind The Drag Queen of the Year Pageant Competition Award Contest Competition from Producers Entertainment Group and Sugar Highs from Emotion Pictures. Returning series include The Sherry Vine Variety Show and Translation from Producers Entertainment Group, Camp Wannakiki from Sugarbaker Productions, The Villbergs Chronicles from The Villbergs Productions, Iconic Justice from DaddyTV, Avocado Toast from Border2Border Entertainment and Pride from We Demand Productions.

Sew Fierce (8 x 60’) | Reality series
A new competition series showcases the craft of drag. Drag designers and costumers compete in weekly challenges to create new looks, hosted by Barbada and with design mentor Lucinda Miu.
Dr. Jackie (6 x 30’) | Comedy Series
Former contestants of RuPaul’s Drag Race Peppermint, Jiggly Caliente, Sonique Love, and Carmen Carrera are back for another seat at the table in this weekly roundtable talk series where they discuss various topics including physical and mental health, trans military/athletes and sex work as it all relates to their trans identities.
Sugar Highs (6 x 30’) | Comedy Series
Three twenty-something men would rather be drunk, stoned and party than work at menial jobs for a living. Solution? Sugar daddies.
Behind The Drag Queen of the Year Pageant Competition Award Contest Competition (6x 30’) | Reality series
Pageant Directors Alaska Thunderf*ck 5000 and Lola LeCroix invite a group of stellar drag artists from a variety of backgrounds and drag perspectives to compete for a crown, a sash, a bouquet of very nice flowers and a cash prize in this behind the scenes look at the making of a pageant the world has never seen before.

Camp Directors the Sugarbaker Twins and Camp Counselor Ruthie are back for a fourth series with another cast of campers, all competing for the Ultimate Queen or King of Camp badge!
The Villbergs Chronicles, Season 2 (6 x 30’) | Reality series
The Villbergs of Sweden return! Mrs. Villberg comes to the horrifying realization that she is not really a married woman and sets out to make things right! While Mr. Villberg is hard at work in the studio preparing for the big day, the Mrs. rides around the city acting as her own wedding planner with a salty can-do attitude in The Villbergs Chronicles – Wedding Edition.

An intergenerational dramedy series exploring the comforts and awkwardness of sex from the ages for 25 to 69. The series returns with Molly back in Toronto with bad hair and undiagnosed endometriosis. Meanwhile, Elle has suffered a breakdown and has left her company to join a cult.
Pride, Season 3 (6 x 30’) | Documentary series
Award-winning filmmaker Mark Kenneth Woods continues his travels to Pride celebrations around the globe to learn about LGBTQ+ history, visiting Dublin, Provincetown, Vancouver, Puerto Vallarta and Phoenix.
